Guest Comments about the Blair House
My favorite T. V. series Murder She Wrote was the reason for reserving “Angela’s Suite”, and we were not disappointed.
What a delightful inn. It’s so refreshing to stay in an old charming place like this. I felt like a princess in that bed filled with down “everything”.
Jennifer’s room was great. We loved the bed and the decor. The window with the view of the ocean was beautiful; it was hard to leave the bench in front of it!
Thank you for this blessed Blair House and the slow, relaxed pace of beautiful, friendly, foggy Mendocino.
We lucked out to find this gorgeous room and unbelievable bed. Fantastic view; saw a magic rainbow. Can’t wait to explore the town!
Glorious weather, glorious inn! Thank you so much for an elegant and peaceful sojourn - we definitely left our hearts in Mendocino and we’ll come back to retrieve them some time down the line!
We had a wonderful stay in Angela’s beautiful suite of rooms and our host’s recommendation for dinner resulted in our having one of the best meals ever. Beds comfy and coffee great.

What a fun way to spend spring break. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the beach. Even spotted some whales. The coziness of the cottage is a great place to come back to. Thanks for everything.
Chased moth around room. Dusted floor. Took naps in the sun, Chased cat. Walked to ocean. Watched the sunset. Ate. Snooped under the sink - got in trouble for that. Slept next to the bed...Why not on the bed? (canine guest)
How much we are enjoying our stay at Blair House, an intriguing architectural example of Victoriana - the exterior of which we had viewed on national T.V. Tootle Poodle thanks you for the converted carriage house and stable, an accommodation which allowed him to share our experience of “visiting in history”. We thank you for the wonderful 12 inch 19th century floor boards, in their original state, (very rare,) and the 20th century feather bed and microwave.*
